Luke is 6!!!

Today Luke is 6 years old.   I love this little guy so much!  We have had such a good time while everyone else has been gone.   His love language is definitely quality time so he has eaten this up.   I've been asking him little questions here and there....his favorite color is  "all of the boy colors except for white".   He wants to be a police officer and work at Walmart when he grows up.    His favorite toy is his kickball.   Today he told me that if a pack of coyotes surrounds Christy, he will save her life!   The funniest thing, is that apparently, he can physically feel that he's about to turn 6.  He's all of the sudden much braver (he entered several dark rooms without turning on the lights), he's much stronger (he can lift very heavy things now), and he's "happy and it's fun".   He really is getting so big.  He used to be a little guy...forever he stayed in the 5th percentile for height and weight.  Now he is average.    I love that he still has a few things he says that are cute.   "fank you" , "wif about" (without), "potato"(tomato).    When the boys were babies, I remember so many people coming up to me and telling me that time would fly and I needed to enjoy them while they were little.   They were so right.
