When we decided to get bees we joined our local beekeepers association. It has turned out to be such a great experience. They are a great group of people who want to help new beekeepers be successful. Saturday they hosted a field day where experienced beekeepers helped the new ones learn by actually working on some hives. Someone had an extra kid's suit so Luke got to get right in there too. It was a beautiful farm and we had so much fun. Chad said he learned so much as well.
