Is it just me? I sit down to sharpen our new box of pencils. One after the other....they sharpen and then the lead falls out! What am I doing wrong? Is it the pencils? The sharpener? Me? Agh! I always seem to have this problem so I bought brand new pencils...still!

It's not just you, or the sharpener. It seems that almost all pencils we buy, the lead isn't in the center, or it's just loose. I've sharpened several pencils from new to the eraser, and the lead falls out every time! Maybe we should try the plain old orange #2 pencils. Maybe they'll work....
It's annoying...some people say to buy the more expensive pencils but the way we lose pencils, I'd be broke!
